Joyful Mystery 5 of 5.
Scripture
‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’
Luke 2:41–52
Meditation
When Jesus is twelve, his parents lose him in Jerusalem during the Passover. For three days they search in growing anguish. They find him in the Temple, in conversation with the teachers, astonishing them with his questions and answers. ‘Did you not know I must be about my Father’s business?’ he asks his mother. This mystery is for everyone who has lost the sense of God and walks through the city of their own life searching.
