The Joyful Mysteries are traditionally prayed on Mondays and Saturdays.
The Joyful Mysteries gather the events surrounding the Incarnation: the announcement to Mary that she would bear the Son of God, her visit to her cousin Elizabeth, the birth of Jesus, his presentation in the Temple, and his being found there as a boy of twelve. They are mysteries of beginnings — of small, hidden, world-altering yeses.
