Meditation
Mary, the lowly handmaid of Nazareth, is crowned Queen of Heaven by her Son. The mystery answers the great reversal Mary herself sang of at the Visitation: God lifts up the lowly. Her queenship is not a distance from us but a nearness — she reigns by interceding.
