Meditation
Jesus steps into the river with sinners and asks John to baptize him — not because he needs cleansing, but to be one with us. The heavens open, the Spirit descends like a dove, and the Father’s voice is heard: ‘This is my beloved Son.’ The Trinity is shown plainly at the threshold of Christ’s public ministry.
