Meditation
On a high mountain, Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John. His face shines like the sun; Moses and Elijah appear with him. The Father’s voice speaks again: ‘This is my beloved Son; listen to him.’ The vision is brief. The disciples are then sent back down the mountain to live by what they have seen.
