At a wedding in a small Galilean town, the wine runs out. Mary notices — before anyone else — and turns to her Son. ‘They have no wine.’ She then says to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ They are her last words recorded in the Gospels, and they are the heart of every Marian devotion.
